Eco psychology
I’m currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Eco-Psychology, and delivering 1:1 sessions in Ecotherapy as an eco psychologist - in - training.
My ecotherapy training and practice invites myself and participants to step into natural spaces and consider nature as an active participant in the therapeutic process. Much like psychotherapy in the room it continues to be a listening space for personal stories but brings an eco centred experience, acknowledging the broader relational field of the ecological as well as the personal. On a deeper level this can lead to a return to a Natural Self; a self connected to nature, to their bodies, bringing a sense of belonging and community, countering the oftentimes feelings of separation and isolation.
